This course is aimed at Litigators and Family Lawyers looking to brush up their knowledge or, if just starting out in these areas of law, to gain a valuable insight into this complex topic. The course will consider the following issues: *Concepts of Value relating to businesses; *Methods of Valuation; *Which method to use; *Earnings Based Valuation - considering "sustainanble earnings", "true profit" and the scope for manipulation; *Tax Issues; *The role of a Forensic Accountant in such disputes. We are delighted that Phil Ewing has agreed to present this session for the WLS; he advises a broad range of clients on financial, tax and business develpment issues.
